Evolution of the interface design for Convert Interface design evolution of TapTapTap’s Convert app for iPhone. Incredible the number of iterations that were tried before settling on a final approach. (via the app’s designer, Wolfgang Bartelme) Really interesting little video. They definitely ended up with the nicest top half of the app. I think they had some nicer options for the buttons though.

Screenr is an incredible, free, java screencasting ‘webapp’. This means you can now do short screencasts without installing any software. It’s designed to send your screencasts to twitter, but of course it isn’t limited to just Twitter. You can get the embed code, publish to YouTube or even download the mp4. It can even makes a iPhone friendly (non flash) version.
