What you can learn from Panic's approach to email... →

Longform.org →
We post articles, past and present, that we think are too long and too interesting to be read on a web browser. We started this site to bring together our enthusiasm for both great longform reads and the excellent Instapaper reader. via Anthony Agius

What People Don't Know, They Imagine. →
Chris Clark: There are only two ways to flip a card: over the horizontal edge or over the vertical. Seems pretty simple, but a flip in the wrong direction will make Side B appear upside down, and there’s no way around it but to optimize your printing for the most common flip style. Dita Eyewear
Dita are really kicking goals. About three years ago I finally found a pair of glasses in a style I had wanted forever. Checked their website again and there’s another pair I want quite badly. Have Want Would look freakin’ ace with tinted lenses too.

storiesbyalex-deactivated201010 asked: I recently started using your awesome catchingelehant Tumblr theme and just had a quick question.

One thing I noticed with this theme is the performance hit it seems to have on even fast browsers like Safari and Chrome. Is there anything done to help the chunky scrolling behavior?

SMH technology page – 100% wire copy and six days... →
But this is what we seem to have come to. All that Australia’s newspaper of the year is able to offer for its weekly digital page is a trio of six-day-old wire stories. Remind me again why we’re worrying about the health of our newspapers?

Twitter buys Tweetie →
The app will be renamed Twitter for iPhone. And Loren Brichter – Tweetie’s developer – will also work on an iPad version. I hope he either continues to work on Tweetie for Mac or they make it ‘Twitter for Mac’. Either way, it could do with an update.
