Hong Kong and Macau in the 50’s
Phil Roeder is scanning his dad’s photos from his time in the air force.

During the first half of the 1950s, my father served in the U.S. Air Force and for part of that time was based in Asia, primarily on Okinawa. He had the opportunity to travel around much of the region and these photos (with a few exceptions that include him) are ones he took of the places he visited: villages on Okinawa along with Hong Kong, Manila and Macau.
