Muse iTunes LP
Fairly impressed with the Muse iTunes LP. Lets hope it takes off. In the past, even if I ripped a CD straight away and never actually listened to the disc, it was always nice to have the liner.
Having lyrics and proper album art is brilliant. I was resistant to buying music in a non physical form. But this, for me, along with the removal of DRM is another nail in the coffin.
One complaint is that NONE of this content works on the iPhone/iPod Touch. I at least expected lyrics to be in the meta data. Each song in the ‘LP’ appears to have it’s own album art. That would have been a nice touch.
The other glaring omission is not being able to view the ‘LP’ fullscreen. I’d love to plug the laptop into the TV and stereo and not have iTunes visible. Also, there are scrollbars visible on my 13” MacBook. Scale to fullscreen!
But in general, bravo.
