A screen that doesn’t require you to scan for red dots with numbers inside of them. Instead it would display information and notifications of things that are new and relevant to you. We’ll all have to keep dreaming for the time being. This is the best home screen mockup I’ve seen so far. It would be great if this info was cut down to less information while the screen was locked. The problem though, is that the iPhone still can’t run third party apps in the background. So for this to work with Twitter, Facebook (like they suggest in the article) or anything else, you’d need ‘home screen’ to be another display option for push notifications. Because there’s not much point of turning on a ‘home screen’ option if there’s no new/relevant info.
Great concept, might need...little bit of work of squeezing some
want this NOW. Omg. It would be so helpful and easy and fun.
At a glance, makes sense, then I realized it’s just the Today screen from WinMo. And that’s been SO successful...
Smart, and it still looks good. Apple… make it happen.
Das Konzept ist eigentlich gut. Denke das auch ähnliches folgen wird.
