It depends what level you’re at. But read, try, read, try, read, try, read, try, read, try. Rinse and repeat.
Find people who’s work you like and follow them.
Even if you just want to design in Photoshop (or equivalent), learn how CSS works. Learn what’s possible.
It might be worth doing a design course. But if you just want to learn to front end code, every problem you come up against is only a google search away.
