Is it really necessary to remake one of the most awesome movies of the 80’s? Why remake a movie that is already good. How about remaking Speed 2, that could have been much better.

Like Tim Burton’s remake of Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. Why? An army of midget Oompa-Loompas was awesome, one midget reproduced on a computer was not. And what about getting rid of the scene where Charlie drinks that stuff and flies up to the fan. That scene was the most important in the movie. It showed that Charlie was fallible. Sure Johnny Depp is good, but Gene Wilder was fucking incredible.
